Guarantee

The top quality of services and the patients’ comfort are our priority. Since we bear full responsibility for the results of our work, you get a guarantee on all medical services provided by DENTestetica according to the following principles.

Duration of guarantee

1. Light-cure fillings

Guarantee period – 3 years. Light-cure fillings around tooth necks are covered by a one year guarantee. If some teeth are missing (resulting in the absence of so-called support zones), we offer a 12-month guarantee. Once the missing teeth have been restored, the guarantee is extended to 3 years. This does not apply to fillings around tooth necks. In the case of bruxism (compulsive teeth grinding), the duration of the guarantee is individually determined by a prosthetist.

2. Crown and root inlays

Guarantee period – 3 years. If some teeth are missing and there are no support zones, we offer a 6-month guarantee. Once the missing teeth have been restored, the guarantee is extended to 3 years. In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is individually determined by a prosthetist.

3.  Fixed prosthetic restorations (classical crowns and bridges, crowns and bridges on implants, veneers, inlays, overlays)

Guarantee period – 3 years. If some teeth are missing and there are no support zones, we offer a 12-month guarantee. Once the missing teeth have been restored, the guarantee is extended to 3 years. In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is individually determined by a prosthetist.

4.  Removable acrylic dentures

Guarantee period – 2 years. If some teeth are missing and there are no support zones, we offer a 12-month guarantee. Once the missing teeth have been restored, the guarantee is extended to 2 years. In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is individually determined by a prosthetist.

5. Removable frame dentures

Guarantee period – 3 years. If some teeth are missing and there are no support zones, we offer a 12-month guarantee. Once the missing teeth have been restored, the guarantee is extended to 3 years. In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is individually determined by a prosthetist.

6.  Dental braces and occlusal splints

Guarantee period – 1 year

7.  Implants

The guarantee period is 5 to 10 years, depending on the implant system used and the condition of the patient’s oral cavity – the number and type of bones, co-existing medical conditions, oral hygiene, smoking, etc. If some teeth are missing and there are no support zones, we offer a 12-month guarantee. Once the missing teeth have been restored, the guarantee is extended to 5 to 10  years. In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is individually determined by an implant prosthetics specialist.

Guarantee shall be maintained if:

1. Every 6 months the patient attends a follow-up appointment during which:

• the dentist examines the oral cavity

• a dental hygienist professionally cleans the teeth by removing plaque and tartar (scaling, sandblasting, polishing, fluoridation)

2. The patient follows oral hygiene guidelines provided by the dentist or the dental hygienist. (During the professional teeth cleaning, all our patients undergo oral hygiene training using dental manikins.)

Guarantee does not cover:

1. Endodontic treatment (root canal treatment) due to the unpredictability of the healing process of inflamed periapical tissues.

2. Temporary prosthetic structures inserted immediately after the removal of teeth. Applicable to: fillings, veneers, crowns, bridges, temporary and immediate dentures.

3. Prosthetic works that are not covered by a guarantee or are only covered by a limited guarantee, of which the patient had been informed but made an explicit request to have them done regardless.

4. Treatment of inflamed alveolus following tooth extraction.

5. Treatment of inflamed tooth pulp following a filling insertion or embedding of a prosthetic work. The patient pays only for the endodontic treatment.

Damage not covered by a guarantee:

1. Mechanical damage to natural or artificial teeth during endodontic treatment (e.g. between appointments).

2. Damage caused by injury (e.g. as a result of a force impact on the prosthetic crown).

3. Damage caused by natural bone loss and periodontal lesions.

4. Damage caused by improper oral care and bad oral hygiene.

5. Damage caused by non-compliance with the dentist’s recommendations regarding prosthetic restorations.

6. Damage resulting from an illness that has a detrimental effect on the chewing system (e.g. diabetes, osteoporosis, epilepsy, medical conditions following chemo and/or radiotherapy).

7. Damage resulting from only partial restoration of teeth, which causes prosthetics overload.

8. Damage caused by treatments performed outside DENTestetica.
