Andrzej Gala, DDS, PhD
Dr. Gala is a specialist in prosthetics, surgery and aesthetic dentistry. He holds PhD from the Jagiellonian University. He is the author of many scientific publications and held two scholarships at the University of Würzburg. He is assistant professor at the Chair and Department of Dental Prosthetics at the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University and an active member of the British GDC. An excellent specialist with a great attitude towards patients.
Dentistry was his calling, although he jokes that he became a dentist because “his mom told him to”. What he likes about working at DENTestetica are the colleagues and the atmosphere. He prefers active rest in his free time and relaxes best by doing some gardening.
CV and work experience
Andrzej Gala graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He did his clinical postgraduate internship at ZLO in Kraków. Since 1993, he has been employed at the Chair and Department of Dental Prosthetics at the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, first as an assistant, then a senior assistant and now an assistant professor. In the years 1993-2001, he did specialist training in general dentistry (first degree) and dental prosthetics (second degree). In 1995, he received the title of a Specialist in General Dentistry, and in 2001 the title of a Specialist in Dental Prosthetics. From 2000 to 2003 he carried out his doctoral research at the Chair of Dental Prosthetics on the properties of dental materials used for permanent prosthetic restorations. In 2003, he received PhD in medical sciences from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He was twice the holder of scholarships at the University of Würzburg, Germany, in 1996 and 1998 . He has published 29 scientific papers. He is a member of GDC (UK). He specializes in prosthetics, dental surgery and aesthetic dentistry.
